Argelès-gazost / Val d'Azun / Hautacam
The mild and healthy climate of Argelès-Gazost, the small capital of the area, was already well-known to those who came to enjoy its fresh air at the beginning of the 20th century.
In addition to the magnificent architecture of the villas built during that period around the thermal baths and their park, Argelès-Gazost enjoys a perfect geographical location, making it an ideal base for those who on the one hand wish to indulge in the great range of mountain sports available, and on the other take advantage of all it offers in the way of events, and places to visit and discover.
To the west lies the beautiful wide Val d’Azun, bathed in sunlight, with its large network of paths and tracks, proposing everything from a short stroll to a high (or very high) mountain trek.
To the east have fun year-round at the Hautacam park and ski resort, with a breathtaking 360° panorama of the whole chain of the Pyrenees.
