Bagnères / Grand Tourmalet
Award-winning flowery valley
This wide valley leads to the source of the Adour river. There are in fact 3 delightful little valleys: Payolle, Gripp, and Lesponne.
The whole place is charming, green and carefully maintained thanks to the continuing presence of herds of animals. But it was the thermal waters which made Bagnères-de-Bigorre famous.
